If you are reading this, it means you were part of an incredible year for Lost Plate. 2016 was big for us. Really big. We expanded into two new cities (Chengdu and Beijing), grew our team immensely, and had a blast while doing it. Our mission is to change the way foreigners eat in China by introducing them to real local food, where the locals eat. We can’t thank you enough for visiting us, supporting us, following us, and eating with us.

We were visited by a lot of guests in 2016. Over 2500 to be exact. Many of those people were writers and journalists who featured us in their publications. We’re in love with a handful of new videos we created. Beyond some of the best food porn you’ll ever see, we’ve featured our Founder Ruixi and our Beijing Food Tour experience. If you haven’t seen these yet, take a few minutes to watch. You won’t be disappointed.
Don’t worry, we’re never going to stop expanding to offer you the best opportunity to eat local in China. What’s on deck for 2017? The best Hotpot in Chengdu, Beijing’s first and only Brewery Tour, and perhaps a new city or two (we got some big surprises there)!

Chinese New Year is the most important festival in China, and no matter where you are in the world, we want to wish you there happiest and most prosperous new year.
