We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Travel Operations Coordinator (计调) to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring seamless travel experiences for our customers by managing itinerary planning, supplier coordination, and logistical execution. The ideal candidate has a strong industry network, thrives in high-pressure situations, and possesses exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Itinerary Planning & Execution: Design and coordinate customized travel itineraries, ensuring all details align with customer expectations and operational feasibility.
  • Supplier & Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hotels, transport providers, local guides, restaurants, and other service partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Guide Management: Recruit, train, and manage a pool of tour guides, providing regular feedback and support to enhance their service quality and professionalism.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting: Negotiate with suppliers to optimize pricing, control costs, and maximize profitability while maintaining service excellence.
  • Booking & Reservation Management: Handle all bookings, confirmations, and last-minute adjustments for accommodations, transportation, and activities.
  • Crisis Management & Problem-Solving: Quickly and effectively address unexpected travel issues, such as flight delays, cancellations, or supplier shortcomings, to minimize disruptions.
  • Customer Service & Satisfaction: Work closely with the sales and customer service team to ensure a seamless experience for travelers, addressing any pre-trip, on-trip, or post-trip concerns.
  • Quality Control & Risk Management: Continuously monitor and assess supplier performance and traveler feedback to improve overall service quality and reduce risks.
  • Industry Research & Trend Analysis: Stay updated on travel industry trends, emerging destinations, and new suppliers to enhance our offerings and remain competitive.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the travel industry (tour operator, DMC, or travel agency preferred).
  • Industry Network: Established connections with suppliers, hotels, and local partners to expedite operations and improve service quality.
  • Operational Excellence: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive under high-pressure situations.
  • Attention to Detail: Immensely meticulous in managing bookings, verifying supplier details, and ensuring a flawless travel experience for customers.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude in addressing traveler needs and resolving challenges efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with travel management software, booking systems, and basic data analysis tools.
