YOU

• Possess a high knowledge and passion for the city of Portland and a love for everything about Oregon. You are a true local that calls Portland home, and has all the best recommendations for where to eat and what to do. Possess knowledge of different food cuisines and beverages including beer & wine styles.
• Are an enthusiastic, high-spirited entertainer with an outgoing personality, never a dull pause, and a plethora of ah-ha moments. Comedians, performers, and previous tour guides are encouraged to apply.
• Communicate like a boss who commands attention. Must be comfortable with public speaking in front of large groups.
• Are a flexible and adaptable individual constantly observing your surroundings. You think quickly on your feet while making adjustments to create a personalized experience every time.
• Exercise a high level of patience, friendliness, and customer service.
• Have the ability to follow detailed processes and instructions while remembering facts, stories, and tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead small groups of guests through planned routes with pre-determined menu selections.
• Learn, practice, and perform our documented process of storytelling, facts, and information to your guests.
• Demonstrate 100% customer satisfaction via customer feedback surveys and communicate each tour experience with feedback to management.
• Available weekday/weekend afternoons from noon to 4pm. Additional days and times may be available as our schedule expands. You must be able to communicate your availability in advance. This is a part-time position for a few hours a day, 1-3 days per week.
