01 Guilin Evening Food Tour
Arrival & Check-In: Airport pick-up is included from Guilin’s Liangjiang Airport (KWL).
Guilin Evening Food Tour: Visit a variety of restaurants and street-food stalls to get a legit introduction to Guangxi’s delicious cuisine, from pickles (a local specialty) to bbq to dessert.
02 Local Market, Cave Hike, Private Kitchen Dinner
Countryside Market Visit: Snack your way through a legit local market with all kinds of treats you’ve never seen before.
Hidden Local Lunch: Enjoy lunch hidden in a local village outside Yangshuo with sweeping river views. Try local fish, free-range stewed chicken, fried duck eggs and a lot more.
Cave Hike: Beneath the region’s karst cliffs are a network of caves hidden in the jungle. We’ll meet a local expert who will show us one of the area’s wildest caves to explore its stalactites & stalagmites, and squeeze through the narrow passageways of the underground. Get ready for a true adventure!
Private Kitchen: Visit a private kitchen in a nearby small village. Try seasonal dishes like egg-wrapped dumplings, braised pork belly, seasonal veggies, and pickled bamboo with beef.
03 Sidecar Tour, Yangshuo, Cooking Class
Countryside Sidecar Ride: Jump into vintage sidecars and cruise through Yangshuo’s countryside to discover small villages, picture-perfect panoramas, and local life. A truly unique experience!
Yangshuo’s West Street: Head into Yangshuo’s famous West Street and grab lunch at a trending spot with excellent river views. We’ll try BBQ fish, roasted osmanthus chicken, duck stewed with local beer, and BBQ beef with mint.
Get some free time to explore West Street’s shops and cafes, or head back to the hotel and relax.
Private Cooking Class: Learn about local ingredients and dishes during a cooking class where each person will make 3 local dishes that you’ll enjoy for dinner.
04 Bamboo Raft, Viewpoint Hike
Bamboo Raft River Float: No trip to Yangshuo is complete without a float down the river. Hop on bamboo rafts and enjoy the scenery from the water on a 40 minute float. Careful, your feet may get wet!
Local Lunch: Visit a family for some special home-style cooking. Try seasonal dishes like taro (the local staple food), local river shrimp, wild seasonal veggies, snails stuffed with pork, and homemade cured meat.
Viewpoint Hike: On the way back to Guilin, stop at a breathtaking platform for one final view of this unworldly landscape.
