Frequently Asked Questions:

All dietary requests must be communicated at the time of booking. Please use the following information to understand which tour is right for your group. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know and we’re happy to provide more info.

Food Cart Tour:

This tour can accommodate vegetarian/pescatarian, no red meat, no poultry, no shellfish/seafood, no dairy*, and no nuts. However, there will not always be direct substitutes for every dish that we try on the tour. Please note that each stop we visit may use these products in their kitchens.

*We can leave dairy items like cheese and butter off your portion, but some items have dairy products cooked into the dish.

While we don’t recommend this tour for gluten-free or vegan diets, we can somewhat accommodate these requests. At two stops there is not a direct replacement so you will get a different dish than what others are having, and the brewery stop does not have gluten-free or vegan food, but you will be able to drink. We cannot accommodate celiac individuals. Please note that all carts we visit use meat and gluten in their kitchens.

Coffee & Donut Tour:

This tour can accommodate vegetarian/pescatarian, no red meat, no chicken, no shellfish/seafood, and no nuts. However, there will not always be direct substitutes for every dish that we try on the tour. Please note that each stop we visit may use these products in their kitchens.

We cannot accommodate gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free*, no eggs, and soy-free diets on this tour. These products are used in every kitchen we visit, and there are no substitutes or alternatives available.

*While we cannot accommodate dairy-free donuts or pastries, we can accommodate dairy-free drink requests.

This tour is designed for regular coffee drinkers, but we will try our best to accommodate caffeine-free drinkers when requested. Please note, caffeine-free coffee and/or direct substitutions are not available at every stop. For example, at our first and third stop they do not offer decaf coffee, so we will replace it with tea and/or hot chocolate.

Urban Wine Tasting Tour:

This tour can accommodate vegetarian/pescatarian, no red meat, no chicken, no shellfish/seafood, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and no nuts. However, there will not always be direct substitutes for every dish that we try on the tour. Please note that each stop we visit may use these products in their kitchens.

This tour is designed for wine drinkers, but we can provide alcohol-free beverages at each stop along with the food pairings.

We cannot accommodate severe allergies on any tour as we have no control over the preparation of your food.

We offer flexible start times depending on the tour and vendor hours. While not every tour is available at all times, generally our Coffee & Donut Tour kicks off in the morning, the Food Cart Tour runs in the afternoon, and the Wine Tasting Tour takes place in the evening. Just let us know your preferences and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Private tours typically accommodate groups of 8 to 30 guests. For groups over 15 people, we may split into smaller groups with staggered start times to ensure the best experience. If your group is larger than 30, reach out to us and we’re happy to explore a more custom option to make it work. We can accommodate fewer than 8 guests for an additional small group fee.

Full payment is typically required at the time of booking to confirm your private tour. However, for bookings made well in advance or for larger groups, we’re happy to offer flexible deposit and payment options.

Yes! Gratuity for your guide is added to all private tour bookings, so you can relax and enjoy the experience without worrying about tipping on the day of the tour.

We recommend booking at least one month in advance to ensure your preferred date and time, especially for larger groups. That said, we can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests so don’t hesitate to reach out and check availability!

Private tours follow a different cancellation policy than our public tours due to the extra planning and coordination involved. Cancellations or changes made 7 or more days before your tour are fully refundable. Cancellations or changes made within 7 days of your tour are non-refundable. This extended policy allows us to accommodate vendors, guides, and scheduling needs unique to private and group experiences.

All of our tours are walking tours with a designated meeting spot and short walks between each stop. Transportation to and from the tour is not included and we do not currently offer driving or shuttle tours. Let us know if you need help planning how to get to the starting point!

Most of our tours are accessible with the exception of our Wine Tasting Tour, which includes location(s) with limited accessibility. If someone in your group has mobility concerns, let us know and we’ll help you choose the tour that’s the best fit.

Portland weather can be unpredictable, but our tours run rain or shine. Just bring your umbrella and appetite! In the rare case of severe weather or weather-related closures, we’ll contact you to reschedule or make alternate arrangements for your group.

Yes! Our Coffee & Donut Tour and Food Cart Tour are family-friendly and open to all ages. Our Wine Tasting Tour however, is limited to guests 21 and over. If you’re unsure which tour is the right fit for your group, just reach out and we’re happy to help you decide.

Most of our private tours last around 2.5 to 3 hours depending on the tour and group size. If you’re on a tighter schedule or want something longer, we can often adjust timing to fit your needs.

All of our private tours are all-inclusive. That means you’ll enjoy all food and drink tastings, a local expert guide, and even guide gratuity. Just show up hungry and we’ll take care of the rest!
