Now this is what you call a porch sipper.

Glass: Pint Glass
Garnish: Lemon Wedge or Wheel
When to Drink: On your porch in the summertime

Ingredients

2 oz Ming River Baijiu

½ oz Ginger Portland Syrups

4 oz green tea

Optional: For sweet tea cocktail, add 1 oz green tea simple syrup

Directions

  1. First, make 4 oz green tea by adding ½ Tbsp green tea to 4 oz hot water, and steep for 3-5 minutes.
  2. While tea is steeping, combine Baijiu, Ginger Portland Syrup, and (optional) simple syrup in shaker.
  3. Add ice to shaker.
  4. Once tea is done steeping, strain into shaker with fine mesh strainer.
  5. Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds until cool. (If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, get crafty! You can use a mason jar with a tight lid or strong container with a lid that seals tightly.)
  6. Fill pint glass halfway with ice.
  7. Strain cocktail over glass. Top with ice if needed.
  8. Garnish with lemon wedge or wheel.

Tip: For a sparkling green tea, steep 1 Tbsp of tea in step 1. In step 7, top with soda water instead of more ice.
